Business Growth Centres Program of the Month
Tourism in Western Australia is a dynamic and diverse industry, with influences from everything from currency strength to climatic conditions. The operators need to be able to adapt to all situations and be versatile enough to meet the needs of their clients. Business Growth offers training through one day workshops as well as one-on-one mentoring services to give operators practical skills and clarity to meet the demands of new markets. The Small Business Solutions program is aligned through the "Trust the Tick" National Tourism Accreditation Program WA which is managed through the Tourism Council WA. One day workshops are planned in conjunction with the Visitors Centre Association of WA, these will be delivered in regional centres and the focus will be on creating an experience rather than just selling a bed. This will be very important to operators who want to have greater opportunities in the changing marketplace that is Tourism.
